Role & Responsibilities

Core Expertise

  • • Manage data/voice networks and critical communications

Daily Duties

Technical Operations

  • • Configuring and maintaining IT equipment
  • • Managing user accounts and software
  • • Managing telecommunication systems
  • • System troubleshooting and diagnostics

Mission Support

  • • Handling data communications for tactical systems
  • • Supporting armoured vehicles and command networks
  • • Coordinating with internet service providers
  • • Supporting mission-critical services

Work Environment

Work Locations
  • • Work in server rooms, workshops, vehicles, or outdoor field environments
  • • Serve across Canada and abroad wherever CAF operates
  • • May travel frequently for exercises and deployments
