  • • Maintain, repair, configure, and modify modern communications systems
  • • Operate specialized electronic test equipment

  • • Fibre optic & copper broadband networks
Day-to-Day Duties

Technical Operations

  • • Corrective & preventive maintenance
  • • System diagnosis, modifications, installations
  • • Technical inspections for IT and communications security
  • • Cable installations and repairs

Mission Support

  • • Supporting tactical communications equipment
  • • Managing life cycle of communications platforms
  • • Advising commanders on deployment of communications

Work Locations
  • • Work in outdoor field environments, military vehicles, and workshops
  • • Postings across Canada and worldwide deployments
  • • Frequently travel for exercises and courses
  • • Sometimes work with Unmanned Aircraft Systems
